Three Cousins,
One Dream
It all began with a family dream. Six years ago, three cousins believed that land should be cared for, not owned. What started as Heavenly Highlands became a beautiful success, a place where families reconnect with nature and each other. Now, with Chapter Two: The Heights, we want to multiply that impact by expanding the vision to more families through a six-hectare coffee community in Costa Rica’s Central Valley, where sustainability, faith, and purpose grow side by side.

True growth isn’t found in what we build, but in what we nurture.
This project is a return to those sacred truths: to live with purpose, to work with faith, and to teach future generations that creation itself was meant to be cared for, not conquered.
The Heights didn’t start as a business idea. It started as a family experience that changed the way we see life.
Back in 2019, when we created Heavenly Highlands, we had no idea that project would mark the beginning of something much bigger. What began as a small family farm became a space where we learned to live differently, closer to the land, to the animals, and to each other.
Working together as a family, we realized how powerful it is when daily life connects with nature. Our children learned through real experiences, not theories: planting, harvesting, caring, waiting. That connection with the land shaped values that no school could teach. It taught us gratitude, patience, and purpose.
Six years later, we come together again as a family to begin Chapter 2: The Heights. With great effort, we purchased a six-hectare coffee farm in Costa Rica’s Central Valley — a place where we can give better living conditions to local coffee pickers and preserve one of the few remaining coffee plantations in the region. Our vision is not only to protect it, but to set an example of what a sustainable community development can be: one that does not replace nature, but restores and strengthens it.
Our goal is to create a modern coffee community, a place that respects tradition but thinks forward. Architecturally, we will take inspiration from Costa Rica’s old coffee haciendas — their proportions, materials, and spirit of simplicity. But this time, we will bring them into a more modern and efficient context, with homes that live in harmony with the landscape, that use light, air, and space wisely, and that quietly blend into the land instead of dominating it.
The land itself will continue to be the heart of The Heights. Four of the six hectares are planted with high-quality coffee, which represents both a symbol and a source of pride for our community. Alongside it, lemon trees will provide a second stream of income, while smaller productions from farm animals, honey, and other natural goods will bring balance and richness to the project. The bees, essential to our ecosystem, will live among us, supporting pollination and giving back through their honey.
Beyond production, the land also gives us something even greater: connection. Our vision is to open these spaces for others to experience, whether through educational tours, short stays, or community events. Every visit, every harvest, and every shared moment will help others understand that the true value of this land is not only what it produces, but how it brings people together.
Inspired by the indigenous communities in our country who live in harmony with nature, we believe that true sustainability begins with collaboration. Through small groups dedicated to agriculture, design, communication, and community life, The Heights will cultivate a shared purpose. By working together, we can create a place that flourishes — socially, environmentally, and spiritually.
For us, this project is not about selling lots and houses. It is about building a lifestyle that brings families back to what matters. It is about creating a living example of how design, agriculture, and faith can come together to build community, one where future generations can grow with renewed minds, strong values, and a deep connection to the earth.
The Heights is not just a place to live.
It is a place to grow, to learn, and to belong.
